On the display and competition tables were many fine plants, ranging from rare, mature miniatures only a few centimetres in diameter to large and showy plants.
One which deserves a special mention is the prize-winning champion succulent grown by Heinz Staude, Sinningia leucotricha.
This plant was not only a show winner but a crowd-pleaser as it was in full flower!
