On October 25-26th the Cactus & Succulent Society of Australia held a spectacular Show and plant sale. The committee worked very hard this year behind the scenes to organise a bigger and better Show than the last in 2007, which was a record year and a great success in its own right.
Saturday morning at 10.00 am the queues went back a long way to the
footpath and road. Rumour has it that there were news reports of a
traffic snarl in the vicinity! Car parks were all full and nearby
streets were also jammed. So it appeared all the efforts in the
publicity area paid off.
