Page 5 of 7 The last bus stop was to Robert Field’s in Tennison with his historic cactus gardens that his father originally planted early last century. This garden has many plants that are so large and crowded that walking around and between them was at times a precarious exercise.
After a first walk around, members soon found things to buy and Robert was barely keeping up with taking cuttings and digging up plants. As with the first garden visited, it wasn’t until we almost had to leave that the buying frenzy escalated.
